COVID-19 Information
March 20, 2022
Effective March 21, 2022, the province of Ontario is lifting most of the remaining COVID-19 restrictions, including mandatory masking in most settings. Mandatory masking, however, remains in effect in healthcare settings for at least another month. As such, we kindly ask that you wear a face mask that covers both your nose and your mouth and ensure that it remains in place throughout your visit at the clinic, unless otherwise advised by a staff member. We are pleased that we are able to continue providing care to our community, and we are working hard to ensure that this happens in a safe manner, as the health and safety of our patients and that of our staff remains our top priority.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us by telephone at 519-650-2777, or by email at info@tcc-clinic.com. We appreciate your understanding and continued patience.

December 21, 2020
On Saturday, December 26, 2020, at 12:01 am, the province is entering a period of lockdown in order to help curb the spread of COVID-19. Lockdown measures will place a variety of restrictions and closures on a number of non-essential services, as per Ontario's COVID-19 Response Framework. As of right now, Tri-City Colonoscopy Clinic has not been mandated to close, and we plan to remain open to provide care for our valued patients. If you have an appointment booked in the coming weeks, your procedure will move forward as planned.
The safety of our patients is of utmost concern, and our stringent cleaning measures and physical distancing efforts will continue as per usual. In addition, further screening has been implemented at the booking and confirming of appointments, as well as at admission to the facility. Please bear with us as we work through another challenge and continue our efforts to provide high quality and safe care.
If the situation changes and Public Health or the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) issue new guidelines that include the closure of Tri-City Colonoscopy Clinic, we will make every effort to contact each and every patient who will be affected by the closure.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us by telephone at 519-650-2777, or by email at info@tcc-clinic.com. Your continued patience and understanding is very much appreciated.
A little more than a month has passed since we began operating under this new normal. We have implemented new policies and procedures that focus on keeping our valuable patients and our staff healthy and safe, while still meeting our high standards of providing effective, efficient, and quality care.
As per Public Health guidelines, we are required to follow up with every patient after their procedure to determine if COVID-19 symptoms have developed since being seen at Tri-City Colonoscopy Clinic. If you have had a procedure at the clinic, you can expect a call from us two weeks after your procedure. We will be asking you if you have developed any symptoms such as a cough, fever, runny nose, difficulty breathing, or any other new symptoms that may be suggestive of COVID-19. If you are showing symptoms, we will ask you to get tested at any testing facility and to notify us of the results; in this way we can ensure that appropriate steps are taken to provide the necessary follow up for all our patients and staff members if required.
We appreciate your continued patience, understanding, and cooperation!
